Flow Assurance & Pipeline Monitoring
Pipelines fail quietly first. Listen earlier.
Monitoring and simulation systems for pipelines and flowlines: hydraulic models, hydrate and blockage risk, and leak detection that flags deviations early. Grounded in published flow-assurance research on hydrates and multiphase flow, and delivery on $14–50B pipeline and LNG projects.

Keep product moving and find problems before they find you.
- Hydraulic & thermal modelling Steady-state and transient models of your lines: pressures, temperatures, slugging and turndown limits you can actually operate to.
- Leak detection Model-based and data-driven leak detection tuned to your line, balancing sensitivity against false alarms your operators will actually tolerate.
- Hydrate & blockage risk Hydrate formation risk tracked against live operating conditions, with warnings before the line finds its own way to tell you.
- Continuous condition monitoring Live monitoring against model expectations, so gradual changes like fouling, wax and instrument drift surface as trends, not surprises.
- Alarms worth waking up for Deviation alerting designed for control rooms: ranked, rate-limited and explained, not a wall of red.
FAQ
- How fast can leaks be detected?
- Detection speed and minimum detectable leak size depend on instrumentation and line dynamics. We model both up front, so you get honest numbers before committing.
- Does this work with existing instrumentation?
- Usually, yes. Model-based monitoring extracts a lot from standard pressure, temperature and flow measurements; discovery includes an instrumentation review.
- Can it run alongside our existing SCADA?
- Yes. It consumes historian and SCADA data read-only and feeds back displays and alerts; nothing sits in the control loop.
